Jennifer Fehder Viers ~
Artistic & Creative Director |
|
Jennifer has studied various forms of dance including Tap,Jazz,
Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Hip-hop,
and Musical Theatre. Jennifer was a competitive dance team member
for over 12 years and won numerous
1st place awards for her solos in dance and voice competitions. She
received her dance training at The
Preparatory Dance Program at U of L, The Louisville Ballet, and
several local dance studios in Louisville
and Indiana. Jennifer was a member of the Assumption Dance Team and
Planet Dance Senior Dance Team
under the direction of of Sheryl Knight & Todd Sharp. She has
trained with choreographers Barb Cullen,
Linda Braun, Sheryl Knight, Sheila Barker, Frank Hatchett, and Dan
Cooney.
She was one of several back-up dancer's for Martha Reeves (Singer of
"Dance'n in The Streets) during the
Pegasus Parade when Martha Reeve's was the Celebrity Mistress of
Ceremonies. She performed five years
in the Louisville Ballet's "Nutcracker," and has performed in more
than 35 musicals, dramas, and comedies
at many local theaters including Derby Dinner Playhouse, Stage One,
Music Theatre of Louisville, Center
Stage, Bunbury Theatre, Clarksville Little Theatre and the Bomhard.
Jennifer has also done several
commercials
and print ads (newspaper).
Jennifer attended the University of Louisville where she studied
Elementary Education and Child Psychology.
While there, she took classes in theater and voice. Jennifer
has been teaching dance and theater for over
eight years. She taught for Music Theater of Louisville during their
summer camps and their community
outreach program at several local elementary schools. She has guest
taught at several local dance
schools and was the Director of the dance program at local
children's sports and recreation facility for 2 years.
Jennifer is very excited to have opened her own dance studio. It has
been a dream since she was a little girl!
She hopes to be able to share her passion for dance and performing
with her students, so that they too, can
know the joy that dance and the performing arts can bring.

Amber Yates ~ Master Instructor |
|
Amber is
a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and has over 18 years of
dance performing experience in
ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and musical
theatre.
She has danced at several local prominent studios, performed
at the Barnstable-Brown Derby Eve
Gala for 2 consecutive years, studied with the U of L Ballet
Academy and is a graduate of the Youth
Performing Arts School (YPAS) dance program. Darrin Henson and
Stepp Stewert are just a couple
of the many prestigious performers under which she has studied
dance. In Dec. 2011, she took classes
at Joffrey School of Ballet in Chicago, Ill.
Competitively, Amber has received many regional & national
first place and top awards, including two
"First Place Overall Awards" for tap solos at national
competitions, as well as the "Fast Fancy Feet"
Award for a tap routine.
Amber has over 8 yrs teaching experience in tap, jazz, ballet,
hip hop, and modern dance, from
kinder dance to adult levels - recreational and competitive.
She recently received a "choreographer's award"
at a regional competition.
Sharing her passion for dance has always been a dream of
Amber’s, in which she is excited to further pursue.
She is currently working on a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration at McKendree University. |

Lauren
Zoeller ~ Instructor |
|
Lauren
Zoeller is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She began dance
at the age of six. She is a graduate
of the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) where she received
a degree in dance and a minor in musical
theater. Lauren attended the University of Illinois in
Champaign - Urbana to pursue a degree in modern
dance. While Lauren was a student at Illinois that she decided
to change her direction to vocal performance.
She moved back to Louisville and enrolled in Bellarmine
University where she began her vocal studies.
Lauren recently graduated from Bellarmine University with a
degree in Vocal Performance and Jazz Studies.
While studying music at Bellarmine, Lauren has remained true
to her desire to be an entertainer. She continues
to perform regularly with several Modern Dance companies in
the Louisville area, including Moving Collective,
Jan Street Dance Theatre, and Contemporary Dance Louisville.
Lauren recently signed a contract in Nashville, Tennessee with
the Tyler Music Group with Producer William
Smith and Manager Michelle Robertson. Together they have
released her first cd entitled "Something to
Say"

Holly Lewis

Holly Lewis
is from Cecilia, Ky. She is currently a student at Bellarmine
University and will be graduating
in May 2011 with a major in English and Secondary Education.
Holly is currently completing her student
teaching requirement at Waggener Traditional High School.
Holly danced for 16 years at Center Stage Dance
Studio in Elizabethtown, KY. During this time, Holly had the
opportunity to perform in many local venues,
but also had the privilege of performing on the National
Level. In 2003 Holly performed at the Walt Disney
World Magical Music Days. In 2005 she performed in the Capital
One Bowl Halftime Show and attended the
Chicago National Association of Dance Masters Ballet Forum.
During 2006 Holly performed in the Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade and in 2008 she performed once again
in the Capital One Bowl Halftime Show.
Holly is a positive, nurturing and skilled dance teacher and
we are very pleased to have her be part of the
Elite Academy Staff! |

Kathleen Anderson ~ Ballet Instructor
Ms. Kathleen Anderson has been teaching both Children and
Adult Ballet classes in the Louisville Area for
many years. She has an extensive background in dance,
especially in classical ballet. Her training includes
a summer in France at the Nice Opera Ballet School, University
of Louisville Dance Academy, Louisville
Civic Ballet Company, 2 years at American Ballet Theatre
School, and the University of Cincinnati College
Of Conservatory of Music where she earned both a BFA and MA in
Dance. Kathleen has also danced as a
member of the Louisville Civic Ballet Company, with Cincinnati
Ballet, and professionally with the New
Orleans Ballet and New Orleans Contemporary Dance Company.
Kathleen loves teaching dance and has
many years of experience teaching all levels of ballet,
including professional dancers. Her goal for all her
students is to teach solid technique while passing on a great
experience in the joy of dancing. We are very
fortunate to have Kathleen on our Staff! She is a gifted
Ballet Instructor and both Children and Adults love
her classes!!! |
